Top 10 Countries with the Most Omicron Cases Worldwide (Monday, February 14, 2022)

The Omicron (B.1.1.529) variant of the Covid-19 virus continues to spread globally, reaching 932,900 cases by Monday, February 14, 2022. The United Kingdom ranks first, with a weekly Omicron case growth of 18.68 percent. GISAID recorded 457,260 Omicron cases in the UK, a daily increase of 2.14 percent compared to the previous day.

Following the UK is the United States, with a weekly Omicron case growth of 15.79 percent. Daily Omicron cases in the US increased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous day, totaling 370,860.

Next are France with 30,039 Omicron cases (a 45.76% increase), Poland with 15,588 cases (a 53.02% increase), and Israel with 13,225 cases (a 35.77% increase).

In Indonesia, the number of Omicron cases reached 5,305, a 3.9 percent increase compared to the previous day. Since its initial detection, Omicron cases in Indonesia have steadily risen.
