National Vaccination Update: Total Dose 1 Reaches 203.87 Million (Monday, July 17th)

National COVID-19 vaccination as of Monday, July 17, 2023, has reached 454.33 million doses. The details are as follows: 203.87 million doses for the first dose, 174.94 million for the second dose, 69.09 million for the third dose, 3.42 million for the fourth dose, and 3.02 million doses for community-based vaccination programs.

A total of 2.05 million healthcare workers have received the first dose of the vaccine, or 139.34% of the target. 2.01 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, or 137.01% of the target. For healthcare workers specifically, the government has recommended a third and fourth dose, with 1.81 million doses and 842,830 doses administered respectively.

For the first dose vaccination of public officials, 18.23 million people have received it, or 105.2% of the target. Of this number, 17.1 million people, or 98.68% of the target, have received the second dose.

In addition, in the first phase, the government also prioritized elderly individuals for vaccination. However, to date, only 18.3 million, or 84.88% of the target, have received the first dose. The second dose has been administered to 15.16 million, or 70.33% of the target.

Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vaccination for vulnerable and general population groups. For this group, 116.91 million people, or 82.79% of the target, have received the first dose. The second dose has been administered to 99.55 million, or 70.5% of the target.

Finally, another vaccination target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years. A total of 25.49 million people in this group, or 95.46% of the target, have received the first dose. Of that number, 22.33 million people, or 83.6% of the target, have received the second dose.
