The top five regencies/cities with an agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19 exceeding 0.19 per 100,000 population per week are Barito Timur (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Tanah Laut (0.28 per 100,000 population per week), Manggarai (0.28 per 100,000 population per week), Pasaman Barat (0.21 per 100,000 population per week), and Lumajang (0.19 per 100,000 population per week).
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19 in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in the agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19, higher than previous figures, was recorded in one regency/city.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration population death rate due to Covid-19 include Barito Timur (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Tanah Laut (0.28 per 100,000 population per week), and Manggarai (0.28 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
