Indonesia's Top Exports to Uruguay in 2023

Indonesia recorded exports to Uruguay totaling US$55.66 million as of December 2023. This figure represents a 4.06% decrease compared to the previous year's exports of US$58.01 million.

Indonesia's trade record with Uruguay shows an upward trend in exports over the past 10 years. The lowest export value was US$28.58 million, while the highest reached US$58.01 million.

Of the 97 products (two-digit HS codes) exported to Uruguay, 35 were worth more than one billion dollars. 3. Animal, vegetable, or microbial fats and oils and their cleavage products

Indonesia also exported a significant amount of animal, vegetable, or microbial fats and oils and their cleavage products to Uruguay, totaling US$4.75 million. There were no recorded exports of this product to Uruguay in the previous year. Besides Uruguay, Indonesia also relies on exports of animal, vegetable, or microbial fats and oils and their cleavage products to ship chandlers and bunkers, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Sint Maarten (Netherlands Antilles), and Slovakia. In addition to these main countries, Indonesia exported this product to four other countries.

4. Mineral fuels, mineral oils, and products of their distillation

Indonesia exported this product to only one country. Exports of mineral fuels, mineral oils, and products of their distillation to Uruguay were the largest. In 2023, Indonesia recorded exports totaling US$3.14 million. Other top five export destinations include China, the United States, India, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.

5. Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus

Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus, categorized under HS code 90, totaled US$3.12 million in exports from Indonesia. Uruguay remains the largest export destination for these products. Besides Uruguay, the five largest export destinations for these Indonesian products are the United States, China, Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan.
