Indonesia's trade balance with Denmark showed a surplus of US$2.3 million in 2020. This trade balance value increased by 124.4% compared to the previous year's balance, which was recorded at US$-9,437 thousand.
This positive trade balance, according to Trademap data, was supported by Indonesia's export value, which reached US$163.9 million. This value is higher than Indonesia's imports from Denmark, which were recorded at US$161.6 million.
Indonesia's exports to Denmark have been on a downward trend over the past year. The previous year's export value was US$195.33 million.
Meanwhile, imports, according to Trademap data, decreased by 21.08% compared to the previous year, which was recorded at US$204.77 million.
Based on product type, there were 10 main export products from Indonesia to Denmark that recorded a surplus during 2020. The total value of these main exports reached US$115.94 million.
