According to a JakPat survey, in the second half of 2024, 91% of respondents in Indonesia had conducted e-commerce transactions.

Of this group, the majority, or 33%, spent approximately Rp200,000–Rp400,000 per month on online shopping.

Furthermore, 24% spent less than Rp200,000 on online shopping, and 16% spent between Rp400,000–Rp600,000 per month.

Other widely used payment methods included cash on delivery or COD (64%), mobile banking (47%), and paylater (29%).

This survey involved a total of 2,747 respondents spread across various regions of Indonesia, narrowed down to 2,004 respondents who use e-commerce.

Data collection was conducted online from November 29 to December 9, 2024, with a margin of error of 5%.
