Political Indicator: Jokowi's Electability at 34.2 Percent

The Indonesian Political Indicator survey shows that Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s electability as a presidential candidate (capres) in the 2019 election, using the *top of mind* method, reached 34.2 percent. This is the highest compared to other presidential candidates. Jokowi's high electability is inseparable from the public's satisfaction with President Jokowi's performance, which reached 68.3 percent, and the belief in his ability to lead Indonesia, amounting to 72.6 percent.

His closest competitor is Prabowo Subianto with an electability of 11.5 percent. Then Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) with an electability of 2.1 percent and Hary Tanoesudbjo with 1 percent. Others are less than 1 percent. Meanwhile, those who answered "Don't Know" (TT), "Don't Answer" (TJ), or kept their answer confidential reached 47.4 percent.

The Indikator survey, conducted from September 17-24, 2017, involved 1,220 respondents selected randomly (multistage random sampling) from a population aged 17 years or older, or already married. The survey's average *margin of error* is +/- 2.9 percent with a 95 percent confidence level.
