Survey Indicator: Prabowo is the Most Favored Presidential Candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election

Indikator Politik's survey shows that Prabowo Subianto is the most favored presidential candidate for the 2024 presidential election. The Minister of Defense garnered 23.7% support from respondents in a semi-open simulation of 30 names.

Prabowo's electability is superior across various simulations. He only trails Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the *top of mind* simulation. Prabowo's electability in the *top of mind* simulation was 14%, placing him second, just below Jokowi with 19.6%.

However, in the 30-name presidential candidate simulation, Jokowi was excluded due to presidential term limits. In the 10-name and 8-name simulations, Prabowo still led with 26.9% and 27.6% support, respectively.

Ganjar Pranowo follows in second place as the favorite presidential candidate, with an electability of 20.9% in the 30-name simulation. Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is third with 15.1%.

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil is in fourth place with 5.1% electability, followed by Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno with 4.5%.

Next, Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono has 3.3% electability as a presidential candidate. Former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti follows with 2%. Other figures have electability below 2%.

The Indikator Politik survey involved 2,020 respondents from 34 provinces in Indonesia. Respondents were at least 17 years old or married. The survey was conducted from November 2-6, 2021, using face-to-face interviews. Sample determination used a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 2.9% and a 95% confidence level.
