West Java Gubernatorial Election: Ridwan Kamil Most Favored

Based on the Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) survey release regarding the 2018 West Java gubernatorial election, Ridwan Kamil's electability holds the highest position, reaching 13.1 percent. This figure significantly surpasses the electability percentages of other figures. Following in second and third place are Dedi Mulyadi at 3.4 percent and Deddy Mizwar at 2.3 percent. Meanwhile, a number of other figures recorded support below 2 percent.

Ridwan Kamil is the favorite among West Java residents in the 2018 gubernatorial election. This result was obtained from an open-ended question that allowed respondents to freely answer their choices. The survey was conducted from June 17 to 21, 2017, involving 820 respondents spread across all regions of West Java. The sample was selected using multistage random sampling. The margin of error used is +/- 3.5 percent with a 95 percent confidence level.
