List of Ministers and Deputy Ministers in the Prabowo Cabinet Following the September 2025 Reshuffle

President Prabowo Subianto conducted a cabinet reshuffle, his second, at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday afternoon (September 8, 2025). Five ministers were dismissed, and a new ministry was added.

The reshuffled positions included the Minister of Finance, Minister of Cooperatives, Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, Minister of Youth and Sports, and the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs. A new ministry was also added, namely the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

As of yet, there are no replacements for the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) and the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora).

The President appointed Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin as the acting Menko Polhukam. There is no confirmed name for the Menpora position yet.

“Yes, wait for the right time, so you'll be enthusiastic. Diligent School People, ask the Menko Polkam,” Prabowo jokingly told Katadata and other media crews while inspecting the Senior High School Rakyat (SRMA) 10 in South Jakarta on Thursday (September 11, 2025).

The following is a list of those affected by the reshuffle, including their replacements and additions:

1. Minister of Finance: Sri Mulyani replaced by Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa

2. Minister of Cooperatives: Budi Arie replaced by Ferry Juliantono

3. Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers: Abdul Kadir Karding replaced by Mukhtaruddin

4. Minister of Hajj and Umrah: Mochamad Irfan Yusuf

5. Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah: Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak

6. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs: Budi Gunawan replaced by Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin (acting)

7. Minister of Youth and Sports: Dito Ariotedjo (no replacement yet)

With the reshuffle and the addition of the new ministry, the number of ministers and heads of agencies in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka White Cabinet increased to 54 from 53. The number of deputy ministers also increased to 57 from 56.
