The Indonesian Political Indicator survey institute has released the results of a survey regarding the electoral map in the 2024 West Java Regional Elections.

In a simulation of four gubernatorial and vice-gubernatorial candidate pairs in West Java, candidate pair number 4, Dedi Mulyadi and Ilham Akbar, achieved the highest electability, reaching 75.7%.

Next is the pair Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Akbar Habibie, chosen by 13.8% of respondents.

This is followed by the electability of Acep Adang Ruhiat-Gitalis Dwi Nataria at 4.2% and the pair Jeje Wiradinata-Ronal Surapradja at 2.7%.

Meanwhile, 3.6% of respondents stated that they did not know or did not answer regarding the pair they supported in the 2024 West Java Regional Elections.

However, the Indikator survey also found that 24.7% of respondents stated a high likelihood of changing their support.

Meanwhile, 44.7% of respondents said there was a low likelihood of changing their choice.

"Although the category is a low likelihood of changing their choice, it does not mean that the possibility of changing their choice is not open," said Burhanuddin.

This survey involved 1,200 respondents in West Java, with the criteria of being 17 years of age or older or already married. Respondents were selected using a multistage random sampling method.

Data collection was conducted from October 3-12, 2024, through face-to-face interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
