Indonesia's Indikator Politik survey shows Ganjar Pranowo receiving the highest number of votes in a simulation of the 2024 presidential election. In a simulation including 10 names, the Governor of Central Java received 30.7% of the total respondent votes.
Prabowo Subianto came in second with 22.5%, followed by Anies Baswedan in third with 22%.
Far behind in fourth place was Ridwan Kamil with 8.3%, followed by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) with 2.4%, and Khofifah Indar Parawansa with 2.1%.
All other candidates received less than 2% of the vote. 8.4% of respondents answered "don't know" or "didn't answer" (TT/TJ).
Indikator Politik stated that the 10-name simulation showed little change from previous surveys.
Three-candidate presidential simulation
Indikator Politik then narrowed the simulation to three candidates. Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto, and Anies Baswedan retained the top three spots.
Ganjar Pranowo received 36.8% of the vote, Prabowo Subianto received 27%, and Anies Baswedan received 26.8%. TT/TJ responses accounted for 9.4% of the vote.
This research involved Indonesian citizens eligible to vote (17 years or older, or married at the time of the survey). A multistage random sampling method was used.
Data was collected from Indikator Politik's second survey conducted from March 12-18, 2023, with a sample size of 800 people. The sample was proportionally distributed across almost all provinces.
The margin of error (MoE) is ±3.5% at a 95% confidence level. Selected respondents were interviewed face-to-face by trained interviewers.
