2022 Data: Unemployment in Bombana Regency 1.47%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Bombana Regency reached 1.16% in 2023. This figure is a decrease of 0.31% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 1.47%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 2.01%.

The open unemployment rate (OUR) over the past ten years reached its highest point in 2021 at 3.17% and its lowest point in 2017 at 0.47%.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 398 nationally. The national average for the open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.6%.

The decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) is reflected in the number of employed people and the labor force published by BPS this year. The labor force in Bombana Regency has shown an upward trend over the past 16 years. In 2021, the labor force was recorded at 96,870 workers, then decreased to 77,015 workers in 2023.

Regarding the number of employed people, the number of workers in Bombana Regency has shown an upward trend over the past 14 years.
