According to a Populix and KitaLulus survey, 43% of job-seeking respondents found it quite difficult to find jobs that matched their current qualifications.
Of this group, the majority, or 63%, experienced difficulties due to excessively high experience requirements.
Furthermore, 58% of respondents felt that the required education level was too high; 53% were hampered by age limits for the targeted jobs; and 51% struggled due to intense competition.
Some respondents also had difficulty finding jobs due to a lack of connections at the targeted companies and a scarcity of vacancies for their educational background, both reported by 40% of respondents.
Additionally, difficulties faced by job seekers were related to the high demands of the labor market, such as the need for technical skills, soft skills, and language proficiency.
