Today's Food Prices in West Java: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (11/12/2024) at 11:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, red chilies, pure beef, broiler chicken, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, medium rice, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,710 (5.86%) to Rp30,870 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp1,220 (3.05%) to Rp38,780 per kg.
