West Java Food Prices Wednesday (16/10), What is the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (16/10/2024) at 13.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, farmer-level corn, milkfish, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp820 (3.06%) to Rp27,600 per kg. Medium rice experienced the largest price drop, falling Rp170 (1.31%) to Rp12,810 per kg.
