Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg and Chicken Prices Rise

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, has increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 13:59 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities saw price increases and 3 saw decreases.

Commodities that saw price increases include chicken eggs, red chilies, shallots, red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,960 (7.89%) to Rp26,800 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price decrease, down by Rp220 (0.59%) to Rp36,790 per kg.
