Latest Food Prices in Indonesia: Buffalo Meat and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food ingredients in Indonesia today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (August 6, 2025) at 09:17 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 4 increased and 21 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken eggs, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, fresh local buffalo meat, imported dried soybeans, large red chilies, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity saw the highest jump of Rp640 (1.86%) to Rp35,063 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices experienced the sharpest decline of Rp3,667 (6.88%) to Rp49,634 per kg.
