Food Prices in South Sumatra Latest: Chili Prices Rise, Eggs Fall

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (14/11/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include Minyakita, large red chilies, SPHP rice, curly red chilies, and red cayenne chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dry soybeans (imported), broiler eggs, premium rice, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne chili prices rose the highest by Rp1,056 (2.91%) to Rp37,369 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices fell the sharpest by Rp126 (0.44%) to Rp28,298 per kg.
