Daily Price of Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets of Central Java Province Increased by 1.71% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 12:44 WIB, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Central Java Province increased by Rp50 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp17,950.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp17,850.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 5.28% from the previously recorded price of Rp17,050.

The record high for the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2020 with an increase of 36.23%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2020 with a decrease of -25.71%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show nine commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Fresh Layer Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province; and Daily Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Central Java Province:
