Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Prices of Salt, Cooking Oil, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, at 13:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, shallots, medium-grain rice, Indian mackerel, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken meat, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,980 (10.36%) to Rp31,750 per kg. Red chilies saw the largest price decrease, down by Rp850 (5.06%) to Rp15,960 per kg.
