Food Prices Today (08/1) in Aceh: Egg, Red Chili, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 8, 2026) at 17:47 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities saw a price increase and 6 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices are large red chili and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, bulk granulated sugar, bulk palm cooking oil, curly red chili, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp8,334 (29.41%) to Rp36,667 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili price dropped the sharpest by Rp1,625 (5.04%) to Rp30,625 per kg.
