Food Prices Today in Central Java Region: Rice, Onion, and Chicken Meat Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (September 13, 2025) at 12:13 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include dried soybean seeds (imported), Minyakita cooking oil, consumption sugar, milkfish, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), broiler chicken meat, red onion, red cayenne pepper, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Packaged cooking oil saw the highest increase of Rp269 (1.37%) to Rp19,879 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp1,559 (4.25%) to Rp35,115 per kg.
