West Java Food Prices Today: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (15/6/2024) at 13.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, shallots, broiler chicken, red chilies, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices increased the most by Rp490 (1.31%) to Rp37,960 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply by Rp2,320 (6.23%) to Rp34,940 per kg.
