Today's Food Prices (Jan 23) in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Cooking Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (Jan 23, 2026) at 3:09 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, red onion, bulk granulated sugar, Honan garlic, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, curly red chili, wheat flour, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp1,800 (3.86%) to Rp48,383 per kg. Minyakita's price, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decline of Rp453 (2.75%) to Rp16,040 per liter.
