Latest Food Prices in West Java: Beef Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/7/2024) at 08.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, pure beef, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices surged the highest by Rp4,170 (3.13%) to Rp137,530 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most by Rp2,680 (9.19%) to Rp26,490 per kg.
