Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra Region, How Much is Chicken Meat?

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 5, 2025) at 08.01 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include pure beef, packaged wheat flour, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, large red chili, bulk wheat flour, dried soybean (imported), and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp17,567 (21.98%) to Rp97,500 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped most sharply by Rp40,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
