Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Region Monday (20/10): Salt Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (20/10/2025) at 02:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red cayenne pepper, consumption salt, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, consumption sugar, curly red chili, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour increased the most by Rp250 (2.87%) to Rp8,955 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged wheat flour decreased the sharpest by Rp261 (2.25%) to Rp11,326 per kg.
