Cooking Oil Prices in Traditional Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in East Java province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Meanwhile, compared to the last month, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18.05 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in East Java over the last three months has seen a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily cooking oil price in traditional markets in East Java province is traded at Rp18.3 thousand.

The record increase in daily cooking oil prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 16.77%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2017 with a decrease of -8.5%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in East Java show 12 commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Garlic, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Purebred Chicken Eggs, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Local Granulated Sugar, Curly Red Chilies, Red Chilies, Granulated Sugar, and Large Red Chilies.
