Latest Food Prices in East Java Region: Red Chili, Salt, and Sugar Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 3, 2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chilies, dried soybeans (imported), consumption sugar, curly red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, red onions, Minyakita cooking oil, medium rice, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest increase of Rp210 (1.19%) to Rp17,915 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported) experienced the sharpest drop of Rp120,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
