Cooking Oil Prices in Lampung Are the Highest in Indonesia (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of cooking oil (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 21,370 per kg, as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 21,310 per kg.

The daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Lampung was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 26,300 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of cooking oil in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 17,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara, cooking oil was sold at Rp 24,500 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of cooking oil in North Maluku was Rp 24,100 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 23,400 per kg, and Bengkulu Rp 23,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 20 provinces with cooking oil sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest cooking oil selling prices are Jambi, Riau Islands, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
