Today's Food Price List in West Sumatra: Onion and Egg Prices Rise (Friday, December 8, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (8/12/2023) at 11:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, pure beef, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn saw the highest increase, jumping Rp550 (8.18%) to Rp7,270 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp6,880 (14.68%) to Rp39,980 per kg.
