The primary considerations are price, followed by safety, brand, and vehicle design.

Meanwhile, supplementary features such as infotainment systems, connectivity, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are only considered by a small number of respondents.

PwC conducted this survey among 2,904 respondents across six Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, and Vietnam.
