10 Provinces with the Highest Local White Sugar Prices (Friday, June 10, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of local granulated sugar (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 14,210 per kg as of Friday, June 10, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 14,150 per kg.

The daily price of local granulated sugar in Gorontalo's modern markets was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 16,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of local granulated sugar in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 21,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, local granulated sugar was sold at Rp 15,400 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of local granulated sugar in Central Java was Rp 14,700 per kg, East Kalimantan Rp 14,500 per kg, and Central Sulawesi Rp 14,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 10 provinces with local granulated sugar sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for local granulated sugar are Bangka Belitung Islands, East Java, and West Kalimantan.
