Today's Food Prices January 22 in Jambi: Rice Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 22, 2026) at 3:38 PM WIB, out of 15 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Only red cayenne pepper increased in price.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, curly red chilies, large red chilies, Honan garlic, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp833 (1.45%) to Rp58,333 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,167 (3.63%) to Rp31,000 per kg.

5. Shallots: Rp31,000 per kg (down 3.63%)
6. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (stable)
7. Curly Red Chilies: Rp27,333 per kg (down 1.21%)
8. Large Red Chilies: Rp24,833 per kg (down 2.62%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,833 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,500 per kg (stable)
