Today's Food Prices January 22 in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 22, 2026) at 17.57 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, broiler eggs, medium rice, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, only large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Honan garlic commodity saw the highest jump of Rp383 (0.94%) to Rp41,050 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili decreased the most by Rp916 (1.99%) to Rp45,167 per kg.

8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,850 per kg (up 0.17%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,500 per liter (stable)
