The price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in Maluku Province has increased by 2.44% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the price of branded packaged cooking oil in Maluku province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp21,000 for two days. This price is unchanged from the previous day, and consistent with the price trend over the past week.

However, compared to the last month, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from Rp20,500.

Meanwhile, over the past three months, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in Maluku has increased by 3.7% from Rp20,250.

The highest price increase for branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in this province was recorded in November 2021, at 15.73%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2020, at -9.38%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Maluku today show 13 commodities decreased and eight increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Garlic, Rice, Cooking Oil, Fresh Chicken Meat, Beef, Super I Quality Rice, Inferior Quality II Rice, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Medium-Sized Garlic, Quality 2 Beef, Curly Red Chili, and Chicken Meat.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price trends over the past month in Maluku province:
