Today's Food Prices, December 12 in Banten: Eggs Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Food Staple Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (December 12, 2025) at 17:40 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities saw price increases and 6 commodities saw decreases.

The commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken eggs and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, bulk palm cooking oil, red onion, wheat flour, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken egg commodity surged the highest by Rp333 (1.11%) to Rp30,333 per kg. Red onion prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,666 (3.38%) to Rp47,667 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp32,667 per kg (stable)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,333 per kg (up 1.11%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,467 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,700 per kg (stable)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp16,833 per liter (down 0.98%)
