West Java Food Price Update Today: Egg Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Wednesday, March 6, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (6/3/2024) at 13:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, mackerel, dry soybean (import), medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp140 (1.08%) to Rp13,160 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp2,520 (6.62%) to Rp35,560 per kg.
