Current Food Prices in Central Java: Egg and Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (28/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, skipjack tuna, red chilies, mackerel, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, milkfish, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp810 (4.46%) to Rp18,980 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp680 (1.84%) to Rp36,240 per kg.
