Food Prices Friday (29/8) Central Java Region: Salt Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (29/8/2025) at 11:18 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include corn at the farmer level, broiler eggs, consumption sugar, broiler meat, and whole garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, medium rice, Minyakita, SPHP rice, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt surged the highest by Rp328 (3.07%) to Rp11,025 per kg. The price of mackerel fish dropped the sharpest by Rp840 (2.52%) to Rp32,489 per kg.
