Food Prices Today (02/12) in Jambi: Onions Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (2/12/2025) at 7:15 PM WIB, out of 15 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were red onions and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, curly red chili, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest jump of Rp500 (1.24%) to Rp40,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili experienced the sharpest decline of Rp13,334 (18.61%) to Rp58,333 per kg.

6. Red Onion: Rp40,667 per kg (up 1.24%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp34,000 per kg (up 0.99%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,600 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,833 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,333 per kg (stable)
