Sumatera Barat Food Price List Today: Onion and Chili Prices Rise (Wednesday, December 6, 2023)

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (6/12/2023) at 11:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most by Rp2,780 (5.9%) to Rp49,880 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most by Rp3,050 (8.87%) to Rp31,350 per kg.
