The price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Southeast Sulawesi Province has increased by 31.7% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:44 WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Southeast Sulawesi Province has decreased by Rp 15,000 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 70,000.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp 53,150.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Southeast Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 175.59% from the previous trading price of Rp 25,400.

The record high for the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2020 with an increase of 55.04%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2022 with a decrease of -25.49%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Southeast Sulawesi show three commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are daily chili peppers in traditional markets by province, daily red chili peppers in traditional markets by province, and daily green chili peppers in traditional markets by province.
