Central Java Food Prices, Tuesday (July 9th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (9/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), milkfish, iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, pure beef, medium rice, broiler chicken, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,810 (15.74%) to Rp13,310 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the sharpest price drop, down Rp3,750 (9.52%) to Rp35,650 per kg.
