Food Prices in West Sumatra Tuesday (26/8), What is the Price of Beef?

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (26/8/2025) at 12:37 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, Minyakita, red bird''s eye chili, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, imported dry soybean seeds, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Large red chili commodity increased the most by Rp1,583 (4.25%) to Rp38,833 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of medium rice decreased the most by Rp300 (1.97%) to Rp14,902 per kg.
