West Java Food Prices on Friday (April 26th): Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (26/4/2024) at 13:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, garlic bulbs, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp960 (2.39%) to Rp41,120 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp130 (2.29%) to Rp5,550 per kg.
