Current Food Prices in West Java: Egg, Onion, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (11/5/2024) at 13.30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, shallots, red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices saw the highest increase of Rp640 (1.68%) to Rp38,650 per kg. Red chili prices saw the lowest decrease of Rp2,670 (5.85%) to Rp43,000 per kg.
