West Java Food Price Update Today: Egg Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Tuesday, February 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (27/2/2024) at 12.11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, iodized fine salt, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs increased the most by Rp320 (1.08%) to Rp30,030 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the most by Rp2,280 (2.83%) to Rp78,300 per kg.
