Today's Food Prices (06/1) in West Java: Chicken Meat, Egg, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 6, 2026) at 6:22 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

Only red onion prices increased.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, chicken eggs, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices jumped the highest by Rp1,366 (3.83%) to Rp37,004 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper prices fell the sharpest by Rp3,267 (5.39%) to Rp57,300 per kg.

6. Red Onion: Rp37,004 per kg (up 3.83%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp35,450 per kg (down 0.23%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,125 per kg (down 0.5%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,865 per liter (stable)
